Threats

CyberKnights’ business is occasionally threatened by larger outside forces. These include:

• The SCO Group (TSG), who have launched a legal campaign amounting to barratry to try to extort money from Linux™ users (so far only customers of their predecessors-in-interest, The Santa Crus Operation and Caldera) by falsely claiming copyright and patent interest in Linux™ code, and using the courts as a bludgeon against Linux™ user;
• Others who will be documented as resources permit

Logan High [Utah] students have adjusted well to Linux. “I have to turn off the light to let them know it’s time to go home,” says [Russell] Weeks, who runs the computer lab after school. “Sometimes their parents come in to get them.”
